Llatzeret

The first edition of Yoga Gallery Menorca will take place at a unique location on the island: LAZARETO (listed as a building of cultural interest in 1993).

The Lazareto Island, a peninsula with the name of an island, is located in the center of the port of Mahón and evokes history, smells of the sea, and portrays the exact sensation that the people who practice yoga and choose Menorca as their destination are looking for: peace.

This location was also chosen because of its symbolism in a time of pandemic. It is a unique and historical architectural complex that originally had a medical functionality, since it was used as a quarantine facility for vessels sailing through the Mediterranean sea, in order to avoid the spread of the diseases they suffered.
